The syllabus of Commercial Clerk post exam of RRB (Railway Recruitment Board) Kolkata is as follows:

The standard of questions for the written examination will be generally in conformity with the educational standards and/or minimum technical qualifications prescribed for the posts.

The Questions will be of objective type with multiple choices and are likely to include questions pertaining to General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and reasoning, General Science also.

The question paper will have 100 to 120 questions.

The Question papers shall be of Objective Multiple Choice Type.

The questions paper will be in English, Hindi, Urdu and local languages.

The Questions will be of objective type with multiple choices.

Duration of the examination will be 120 minutes.

Selection

Selection is made strictly as per merit, on the basis of written examination.

In addition, qualifying Skill Test/Interview (wherever applicable) will also be conducted.

Short listed candidates will be called for verification of the original documents according to merit, availability of vacancies and reservation rules.

The typing skill test shall be conducted either on manual typewriter or personal computer as per the option of candidates.
