The two-year, full-time, residential Post Graduate Programme offered by IIMB (Indian Institute of Management Bangalore), leading up to a Post Graduate Diploma in Management, designed to equip students to take on leadership roles in an increasingly complex and dynamic global scenario.

Courses and Credits – First year

The first-year students are exposed to basic concepts in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Personnel Management and Human Resources Management, Quantitative methods, Operations and Behavioral Sciences through the 'core courses'. These lay the foundation for all the functional areas of management that help develop problem-solving skills.

During the first year, a student will be required to do 15 core courses and three electives. The term-wise course details are given in the table below:

Courses and Credits – Second Year

One has to get a minimum of 45 credits in electives in the second year. Electives are usually offered in the following areas:
- Finance & Control
- Marketing
- Corporate Strategy and Policy
- Organizational Behaviour & Human Resources Management
- Production and Operations Management
- Quantitative Methods and Information Systems
- Economic and Social Sciences
