New Syndicate Bank Base Rate April 2016

As per new RBI instructions, Syndicate Bank has announced its new MCLR base rate methodology for pricing loans effective 1st April 2016.

Loans authorized on or before 31st March 2016 will continue to follow the old base rate methodology.

Current MCLR base rate of Syndicate Bank ranges from 9.65% to 9.65% depending on the reset occurrence of the loan.

Rates are revised every month.

Bank may add a variety of mark ups to cover its operating costs and risk best to cover credit risk.

However, the premiums and mark ups would remain unaffected over the life of the loan unless there is a change in the risk profile of the customer.

Current Syndicate Bank Base Rate under the old methodology is 9.70%, which was last updated by Syndicate Bank on 05th Oct 15 as per in sequence available with My Loan Care.

This is the minimum interest rate at which Syndicate Bank may lend apart from for loans to Syndicate Banks own employees, its retired employees and loans against its own deposits

Applicable rate of interest on all Syndicate Bank balanced rate loans, such as home loans, loans against property, business loans, SME loans linked to base rate will vary with changes in its base rate from time to time
