The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) was established in 1936, as the Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work.


The M.A. Social Work in Rural Development programme has been designed to meet the needs for trained social work professionals in designing and managing rural development programmes and to cater to the increasing demand for development professionals with advanced social work skills.


Eligibility Criteria:

Programme requires completion of Bachelor's Degree of minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent from a recognised university, in any discipline.
