The Tripura Board of Secondary Education was established in 1973 by an Act called Tripura Board of Secondary Education Act, 1973 as passed by Tripura Legislative Assembly. The Board started its functioning from the 1st January, 1976.

The TBSE is the Tripura Board of Secondary Education which is responsible for releasing the announcement regarding the HS/12th Exam Syllabus.

Every year a large number of candidates are enrolled for this HS/12th Exam in the month of March. Candidates have enrolled for this exam in the month of March.
