Dibrugarh University in consultation with the Tea Industries has been
conducting a Post Graduate Diploma course in Tea Technology and Plantation
Management (PGDTTPM) from the session 2007-2008

Duration

The course is of 2 (two) semesters with a total duration of 1 (one) year.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates having Bachelor degree in any stream including Agriculture,
Engineering/Technology, Business Administration and Computer Application
from any recognised University securing at least 40% in Major or 45% marks
in aggregate

Candidates appearing/due to appear in the final year of their respective
qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply

Method of Selection

Selection of candidates for admission will be made on merit and an entrance
test followed by an interview and group discussion; the question paper shall
be of 50 marks,

one hour duration and will consist of objective type questions on general
awareness, quantitative aptitude, test of reasoning and basic knowledge on
tea and related industry

The venue for the Entrance Test will be Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh-

The prescribed application form can be obtained from the Office of the Centre
for Tea and Agro Studies, Dibrugarh University on payment of Rs.300/- at the
Punjab National Bank, Dibrugarh University Branch

The application form may also be downloaded from the website

The downloaded forms must be accompanied by a receipt of Fee Deposit of
Rs.300/- in the Account No. PNB A/C: 0157002100032540 (Code: PNBO
994000) of the Punjab National Bank in the prescribed format available in the
University website

The Fees can be tendered through any Branch of Punjab National Bank
