Re: TET Entrance Exam for B.Ed Applicants

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi conducts Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for filling vacant seats of Teachers for classes I to VIII

Tentative Dates for CTET
Online Submission of application begins: 11 October 2014
Online Submission of application ends: 31 October 2014
Date of examination: 16 February 2015

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications for Classes I-V (Primary Stage) Teacher

Must hold any of the following Qualifications---

-Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary
Education
-Senior Secondary with minimum of 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002
-Senior Secondary with minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education
-Senior Secondary with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
-Senior Secondary with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)

Educational Qualification for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage) Teacher

Must have any of the following qualifications:

-Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
-Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and appearing or passed in 1-year B.Ed. (SpecialEducation).
-Graduation with a minimum of 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure)
-Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
-Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary
Education.
-Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

Age Criteria:
There is No Age Limit to appear in CTET exam
