Tata Institute of Fundamental Research Hyderabad is has offering the complete education in scientific ballooning. The basic feature is to carry out scientific experiments in gamma ray and infrared astronomy, cosmic ray, ozone layer, astrobiology and atmospheric sciences, X-Ray , star formation. Balloons are launched in two seasons: Summer (January - April) Winter (October - December).
