CDS (Combined Defence Services) exam is conducted by Union Public Services Commission (UPSC). It is twice held in a year- February and November usually.

To get admission in Indian Military Academy or in Air Force/ Navy, you had to score good marks in the written examination.

CDS exam is of 300 marks which are composed of three sections English, General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics.

Firstly check the syllabus and the exam pattern this will give you an idea what kind of topics the question is coming from and the time limit given to you.

Divide your time and schedule it like that you can give each section equal time.

You should make commands on some topics

Buy or download some practice books

You should solve some previous year question paper also.

You should make note book in which you write important formulas of exams.

Read news paper daily for GK Questions.
