I am looking for some tips for preparation for Indian engineering service examination in 6 months duration ?

Here I am giving you some tips for preparation for Indian engineering service examination in 6 months duration.

For preparation of IES you must clear all about your syllabus and exam pattern of examination . you must give 8 to 10 hours per day for studies. You can also join coaching classes for better preparation of IES exam.
You have to make notes for important topics of General English and General studies and revised them regularly ..

For better preparation you have to solve the previous year question paper of IES Exam or you can buy books for it..

The written examination will comprise two sections:
Section I - objective types questions
Section II – conventional (essay) type questions papers.

General Ability Test:
Part A – General English
Part B – General Studies
One Engineering Discipline should be chosen from the following categories:
Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
