Tips to prepare for the exams of AMIE
I want to give the entrance exams of AMIE and for that I want to get the list of some of the best tips to prepare for the exams of AMIE so can you provide me that? As you want to get the list of some of the best tips to prepare for the exams of AMIE so here is the information of the same for you: A candidate preparing for the AMIE examination should learn to manage time to score well in the exam. Prepare at least few topics in four subjects a week. Try to devote 2-3 hours every day for studies. Solve papers of previous years and practise solving sample papers uploaded on different sites or those that are available in the market. Try to understand the pattern of the questions and answer. Prepare topics that were given more importance in the previous year question papers. For Section A, candidates categorized under the Diploma scheme will have lesser number of subjects. Categorize the subjects into tough and easy and prepare accordingly. For example, Society and Environment is an easy subject; whereas, “Fundamentals of Design and Manufacturing” and “Material Science and Engineering” needs more time and concentration. Try to read recommended books. For better understanding, one can opt for coaching for guidance or personal tuition. Self study and notes preparation should be done on a daily basis. One can refer to these notes at the time of exam. Candidates categorized under the Non Diploma Scheme have to prepare 10 papers. Engineering Mathematics and “Engineering Drawing and Graphics” may require some guidance. After clearing Section A, a candidate will have to register for Section B. A candidate who registers for section B will have to choose his/her engineering discipline and three optional subjects listed by IEI. Try to understand things as much as you can as engineering subjects can be connected easily with life. Last edited by Neelurk; May 5th, 2020 at 05:13 PM. |
