M.A. Economics Program offered by Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli is a two-year programme offered by the Faculty of Economics. The key objective of the programme is to provide a rigorous and up-to-date training in Economics with a special focus on Economic Development.

The programme consists of required courses in Economic Theory (two each in both Microeconomics and Macroeconomics), Mathematical Methods in Economics, Statistics, Econometrics and Development Economics.

One who has passed degree in B.A (Economics)/ B.A. / B.B.E (Business Economics) is eligible

Based on the marks secured by the applicants in the qualifying exam and in the entrance exam following the reservation policy of the Government of Tamil Nadu and the Admission Guidelines of the University
