The International Relations Office (IRO) was set up in the year 2006 as International Students' Office (ISO) to encourage commonly gainful worldwide scholastic trade and coordinated effort amongst TISS and remote Universities/Institutions. TISS has marked MoUs with a portion of the best foundations around the globe and set up linkages with Universities and Institutions in Asia, Europe and North America.

The key destinations of the International Relations Office (IRO) are:

Encourage and upgrade the worldwide perceivability and profile of TISS.

Create, arrange and fortify global linkages.

Encourage, help and help universal understudies in all their scholarly interests.

Logically expand the extent of the Study in India (SIP) and Study Abroad Programs (SAP).

Give a base to help International and Indian researchers for professional success and contribute towards improving respective relations.

IRO assumes an imperative part in liaising with different interior offices to encourage the trading of understudies/workforce/staff individuals amongst TISS and outside Universities, or understudies/people/scientists looking for confirmation/connection at the Institute.

IRO encourages:

Encourage admission to Full time Degree Programs (BA/MA/Integrated M.Phil-PhD/Direct PhD)

Encourage admission to Online, Diploma, Short-term Programs (STP) and Certificate Programs

Oversee and encourage - Incoming and Outgoing Student Exchange Programs (Semester trade – Coursework/Fieldwork or Field Placement/Research Affiliation)

Oversee and encourage - Incoming and Outgoing Faculty Exchange Programs

Tweaked Short-term Study in India Programs (SIP)

Sort out and encourage Joint Seminars/Workshops/Symposium/Conferences

Handle assignments from Foreign Universities or Potential accomplices for Academic and Research coordinated efforts

Investigate conceivable outcomes of Joint Courses/Online Degree/Diploma Programs

Also, connect with and accomplice with a few universal consortium resembles ERASMUS MUNDUS; DAAD; Linnaeus Palme; Obama Singh; and other grant bunches
