Conducting research and analysis and b. Discharging responsibilities as a development practitioner Field Work This component is integrated with the actual work done by the Fellow in the period of 2 years to have a blend of theory and practice Utilization of this work to develop and hone her/his capabilities and competencies as a professional development practitioner To develop pedagogic tools and protocols in order to make the best use of the practical work done in the field by the Fellow and help her/him turn it into the academic work with adequate analytical content and rigour Dissertation/Research Project This component has the following two options: a. Dissertation: Research of academic nature, on an issue of academic concern, to be seen as a contribution to academic knowledge; with a thesis as the output. b. Research Project: Research and Analysis, (methodologically sound) more of practical nature, focused on resolution or answering a problem of practical concern.
