Random number is a number generated by a process, whose outcome is unpredictable, and which cannot be subsequently reliably reproduced.

TNEA assigned to every candidate a random number
before ranking and after the application scrutiny. After random number assignment rank list will be prepared and published in the website.

Random number will be used to assign the Ranking to those who have same cut off marks.

TNEA Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have passed 12th board exam or equivalent .

Secure minimum of 50% marks in aggregate

Applicants must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in their 12th or equivalent exam

Short listing and seat allotment of the candidates through TNEA will be done on the basis of their marks in class 11th and class 12.
