Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) for the session 2016 is conducted by the Anna University for the admission in various constituents and associated colleges of Tamil Nadu.

Last Date to Apply for TNEA : May 3rd week, 2016
TNEA Random Number Issue Date : May last week, 2016
TNEA Rank List Release Date : June 2nd week, 2016
TNEA 2016 Counselling Schedule : July – August 2016

Anna University 1st semester Class Begins : August 2016

Eligibility Criteria
One must be native of Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply for the TNEA 2016.

The one whose parents/guardians are working in the public/government sector for the last five years in Tamil Nadu are also eligible to apply.

must have passed 12th or its equivalent examination from the well-recognized board with the minimum aggregate of 50% marks (for unreserved category), 45% (for backward class including Muslim), 40% (MBC & DNC) and 35% (for SC/ST/SCA) candidates in PCM subjects.

Documents require

Applicants are required to attach following documents while submitting the application form:

10th and 12th class mark sheet.
Transfer Certificate
Community Certificate
Nativity Certificate (If applicable)
12th examination Hall Ticket (In case of pursuing)
Refugee Certificate (If applicable)
Demand Draft
