Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) is conducted by Anna University for admission to undergraduate level courses available at various engineering colleges of the Tamil Nadu.

Candidates may register themselves for TNEA 2016 till May 31, 2016.

Last date to submit filled in online application form is June 4, 2016.

TNEA 2016 Eligibility Criteria:

12th board exam or equivalent with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate

Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in their 12th or equivalent exam

Short listing and seat allotment of the candidates through TNEA 2016 will be done on the basis of their marks in class 11th and class 12th

Selection Procedure:

For admissions to engineering courses, following factors will be considered:

Percentage of marks scored by a candidate in Mathematics and Physics in 12th Class

Percentage of marks scored by a candidate in the 4th optional subject
