Exam Pattern
The entrance examination consists of following papers.

The papers are objective type with multiple choice questions from following areas Biology Physical Sciences (Questions in Physics and Chemistry) Mathematics Vocational Subjects (For Vocational stream candidates) Aptitude Test in Architecture (Compulsory for B. Arch. Candidates)


Eligibility
Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

Those who are appearing in the HSC or qualifying examination in the current year are also eligible for TNPCEE. Other State candidates are not permitted to some of the Professional Courses under TNPCEE.


Selection Procedure
Exam Pattern: The Entrance examination contains 3 papers: Mathematics, Physical Science (Physics and Chemistry) and Biology with multiple choice questions.

Each paper carries 50 marks.

The marks in the TNPCEE is combined with the marks in the Class 12 Board Examination to arrive at a "cut-off" which is used to determine the rank of the students.
