The Tamil Nadu Post Graduation Medical admission will be taken for courses like Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) and Postgraduate Diploma.

Tamil Nadu PG Medical Counselling 2019

Tamil Nadu PG medical 2019 first round of counselling has started on April 1 to 4, 2019.
The authority had released the counselling schedule for Tamil Nadu PG medical admission, which is to be conducted in three rounds including a mop-up round.

Before reporting for the counselling session, one needed to download the call letter of Tamil Nadu PG medical admission 2019 by entering the application number and date of birth.

The counselling was held in offline mode only. The conducting body released an official notice before starting the Tamil Nadu PG medical counselling. The notice contained the ranks of the candidates called for Tamil Nadu PG medical 2019 counselling.

The result of Tamil Nadu PG medical counselling was released in the form of the seat allotment list. The counselling fee was INR 500. One needed to choose colleges, courses and specialisations while participating in Tamil Nadu PG medical counselling.


Tamil Nadu PG Medical Eligibility Criteria 2019


One must be a citizen of India and should have completed MBBS and the compulsory rotatory residential internship (CRRI) from Tamil Nadu.

One who has not completed MBBS from an Institute located in Tamil Nadu must show a certificate of nativity supported by a document (Passport/Aadhar Card/Voter’s ID/Driving License).

One must qualify NEET PG for Tamil Nadu PG medical admission.

It is mandatory to complete the one-year compulsory internship before March 31, 2019.

The institute from where MBBS is completed must be recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

One who possesses MBBS degree other than recognised by Dr MGR Medical University should produce an Eligibility Certificate.
