TNPSC conducts the exam for the recruitment of Assistant Agricultural Officer (AAO) of eligible candidates.

Education Qualification

Candidates those want to apply for TNPSC AAO Recruitment 2016 must have passed Higher Secondary examination and two year diploma in agriculture and knowledge of Tamil Language.

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2016)

Minimum Age (Should have completed) 18 Years
“Others” [i.e. Candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs] 18 Years – 30 Years.
Application Fees

Candidates those want to apply are required to application fees:

For unreserved category: Rs. 150/-
For reserved Category: Rs. 50/-

Selection Process

Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of performance given in written test or interview.

Pay Scale

Selected candidates will get impressive pay scale of Rs. Rs.5200-20200/- (PB2) + 2800/- Grade Pay

Steps to check TNPSC AAO Admit Card 2016

You have to go to the official web portal of TNPSC which looks like:



2 Now look out the correct option in “Latest News” and click on it.
3 After that, open that link in new Tab and enter all the compulsory details in it i.e. Name registration No., Date of Birth etc.
4 Your entry card will appear on your screen.
5 Save it and bring the hard copy of it for future reference.
