Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Entrance Examination conduct the examination for the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police.

Eligibility criteria:

Applicant should possess the following or its equal qualification on the date of notification:
Applicant should have passed first class degree in electronic and communication engineering of any recognized university.

Age:
Candidate age should be between 21-30 years.
Relaxation of 5 years for reserved category.

Exam Pattern:
There will be a written examination of 300 marks of 3 hours duration which will be divided in two parts:
First Part:
General Knowledge (Degree Std.) & General Tamil / General English
In 2nd part applicants have the option to either attempt General Tamil or General English questions.
Both the parts will be of 150 marks each containing 100 questions each.

Selection Procedure:
Selection of the applicants for the posts will be made strictly on the basis of their performance in the written test.
