I want to apply for the post of TNPSC Motor Vehicle Inspector so please tell me what is the educational qualification required for it?

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts the Examination for the post of Motor Vehicles Inspector, Grade-II in the Tamil Nadu Transport Subordinate Service.

Eligibility
Candidate must have passed in the SSLC Exam with eligibility for admission in College courses of studies in the Universities in this State.

Must have Diploma in Automobile Engineering or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu

Must hold a Driving Licence Authorising him to Drive Motor Cycle, Heavy Goods Vehicles and Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicles

Must have experience in Driving Heavy Transport Vehicles for a period of not less than six months.

Age limit:
Minimum Age: 21 Years
Maximum age: 32 Years

No maximum age limit for SCs, SC STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs (Other than BCMs), BCMs

Exam Notification will be published in the Employment news or on the website of TNPSC.

Written Test
Written Test will be a single paper in the following subjects for Diploma Standard
Automobile Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Interview and Record - 40 marks
