Tamil Nadu Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam popularly known as TNPG Medical Exam is a state level entrance exam. It is conducted to offer admission to aspirants in various postgraduate medical courses like Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor in Medicine (MD) and Diploma programmes in various Medical Colleges of Tamil Nadu. Eligibility Criteria - Candidate must be a citizen of India - Candidate completed / completing MBBS programme along with the entire CRRI period in the state of Tamil Nadu Candidate who have completed MBBS programme in other states and who are domicile of Tamil Nadu are also eligible for the examination. - Candidate needs to acquire the permanent Medical Council Registration Certificates of the States or of India at the time of Counseling. - Candidate completing their MBBS degree from other Medical University apart from Dr.MGR Medical University, approved by Medical Council of India are required to produce eligibility certificate from Dr. MGR Medical University, failing to do so will lead to cancellation.
