Completion of TOEFL or Test of English as a Foreign Language with a minimum score of 520 (PBT), 190 (CBT) or 68 (IBT) score is required for admission in Master program in Business in KFUPM or King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.

The TOEFL score must be sent directly to the Deanship of Graduate Studies (KFUPM code is 0868). IELTS is also acceptable (min 6.0).

The MBA program covers all the functional areas of business and allows one to take additional elective courses that match the career aims and personal goals and development which allows further integrate all functional areas and gain the essential overall view of organizational performance.

It accepts both full and part-time students and provides a list of deficiency courses for those whose educational background is not in business fields. Various teaching technologies are utilized including cases, team projects, field research, and simulations.

Other requirements for admission as a regular graduate student in a Master program in Business

Administration is as follows:
• 4 four-year Bachelor’s (B.A., B.S. or B.E.) Degree in business, engineering or sciences fields from a recognized institution.
• A Grade-Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.00 on a scale of 4.0 or equivalent. Official transcripts and degree certificates are required for final admission.
• Completion of the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) with a minimum score of 450. The GMAT scores must be sent directly to the Deanship of Graduate Studies (KFUPM code for GMAT is 0868).
• Minimum 3 letters of recommendation from the faculty who taught the applicant undergraduate courses. [to be submitted through the online recommendation system]
• Minimum 1 course in college level calculus which covers both differentiation and integration subjects.
• A working knowledge of computers as evidenced by minimum 1 course in that area
• Minimum 1 year of full-time work experience. It is waived for graduate assistants, research assistants, and applicants with exceptional academic records. For Executive MBA program, a minimum experience of 8 years, including 3 years in mid or upper level managerial position.
• Satisfactorily meeting any additional departmental or university admission requirements.
