Friend AS On your Demanding Here I m Providing Difference Between IELTS and TOEFL , Have a Look : TOEFL Accents Used: Mostly North American English Accents Length of Test: 4 hours Reading Section: 60–100 minutes (sometimes shorter, sometimes longer). Listening Section: Length: 40-60 minutes Campus conversations & Lectures Take notes 40-60 mins multiple choice Speaking Section: Length: around 20 minutes. You sit at a computer, wearing headphones and a microphone. Writing Section: Length: 50 minutes. Two Questions Answers are typed into a computer. IELTS (Academic) Length of Test: Range of International English Accents Length of test: 2 hours, 45 minutes Reading Section: 3 passages x 20 mins Starts ‘easy’, Gets Harder Listening Section: Listening: around 30 minutes Speaking Section: Length: 12-15 minutes. Test is Recorded. Writing Section: Length: 1 hour Two tasks. Answers are Handwritten. IELTS , TOEFL Similarities : Both test the Four Main Language Skills: Reading, Writing, Listening Speaking They are both standardised tests which- in theory- means that the scores are consistent throughout the world. There is Not Much Difference in Price either, with both costing between $150 and $250 dollars depending on where you do it. |
