Tsinghua School of Economics and Management (SEM) was one of the initial nine business colleges in China to start pilot MBA training in 1991. Later, as a team with MIT Sloan School of Management, the School dispatched International MBA (IMBA) in 1997. In over ten years, the IMBA program has quickly formed into a standout amongst the most persuasive MBA programs in China. As a feature of Tsinghua SEM's ceaseless endeavors to enhance how it gets ready MBA understudies for tomorrow's business challenges.

The school rebuilt its MBA educational modules in 2009, which connects awesome significance to the three center learning components: the speculations and structures utilized by top administrators to decide ("knowing"), the systems and aptitudes required for understudies to end up solid, successful troughs ("doing"), and the qualities, states of mind and morals that will manage them as future pioneers in China and the world ("being").
