The Tulane Executive MBA (EMBA) program brings together managers and professionals with seven or more years of professional work experience. The 18-month program connects you with Freeman’s globally recognized faculty and a network of experienced professionals in a unique, interactive classroom setting. Executive MBA program The EMBA classroom is filled with managers and executives from a variety of occupations, industries, and backgrounds. Applicant Qualifications- Degree Requirements and Transcripts- A bachelor's degree is required; however, neither a business degree nor specific business courses are required for admission. Official transcripts from the registrar of all colleges and universities attended Professional Experience and Leadership Potential- Applicants should have a minimum of seven years of full-time postgraduate work experience, with five of those years in a position of significant management responsibility. The Committee will consider exceptions based on career progression, depth and breadth of experience, and level of management responsibility. Demonstrated Ability- The committee considers the candidate's professional history and academic performance as evidenced by a resume and transcripts. Resume Submit/upload a resume detailing your employment history and academic background. GMAT GMAT scores may be required for admission to the EMBA program. Requests for GMAT waivers are considered on a case-by-case basis. Personal Interview- The interview aids the Committee in assessing the candidate's strengths, motivations, personal commitment, and ability to meet the demands of the program. Recommendations- Two recommendations, attesting to the applicant's academic and professional abilities, are required. Important Dates- Application deadline: November 1, 2017 Program begins January 2018 Cost of Attendance- Tuition for the New Orleans Executive MBA class that starts in January 2018 is $85,000. Tuition Includes: Registration and course fees. Preparatory classes. All required textbooks and course materials.* Study labs. Breakfast and lunch on class days. Campus parking. Airfare, hotel, and group meals for the international seminar abroad. Payment Options A confirmation deposit of $1,000 is required upon acceptance into the program. They offer two program payment options: Pay by Term Payments are due at the start of each of the four terms. Below is the payment schedule for the class starting in January 2017. 2017-2018 Payment Schedule Upon Acceptance $ 1,000 January 2017 $ 20,250 May 2017 $ 21,250 September 2017 $ 21,250 March 2018 $ 21,250 Total Program Tuition $85,000 Pay by Module- Payments of $7,083.33 are due at the end of each of the 12 modules (approximately every 7 to 8 weeks). After the $1,000 deposit is paid, only the balance of $6,083.33 is due for the first module. This modular payment schedule allows tuition to be deferred until courses are completed to better coordinate with employer reimbursements. Contact- A. B.
