The Akron Functional Materials Center AFMC is a joint venture of University of Akron and corporate members

It is designed to accelerate research discoveries towards commercialization using combinatorial experimentation in the Market Driving Areas of Biomaterials, Energy and Sustainability.

It is located in the heart of The University of Akron

The use of gradient and high-throughput research methods are developed for many areas of research.
