The Department of Sociology and Anthropology prepares its understudies to utilize sociological and anthropological points of view in the examination and elucidation of contemporary issues, for example, the pressure amongst globalization and national combination, the imbalances in access to power and assets among various gatherings, and the outcomes of these basic powers on societies and individual lives. In this preparation point, the Department trusts that a sound appraisal of these issues requires:

1. a profound comprehension of social frameworks and forms, and

2. a capacity to apply this comprehension to solid social issues, both of which hone the understudies' basic resources.
