The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC NET 2020 exam on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC).

This exam will be conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidates for the post of assistant professor and junior research fellow (JRF).

Academic Qualifications:

Qualifying Exam: Applying candidate should own Master’s degree or its equivalent from a board or university recognized by UGC.

Qualifying Marks: Candidate must have secured minimum of 55% marks (50% for ST/SC/OBC/PwD) in the Master’s degree in streams such as Social Science, Humanities, Computer Science & Applications and Electronic Science.

Appearing Candidate: Candidates who are in their final year of qualifying exam can also apply.
