UGC Test Eligibility

I am MA in Public Administration and want to apply for UGC NET exam so can you please tell me about in eligibility in details of a candidate to apply for this exam?

To be eligible for UGC NET exam the candidate should have done Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved) from any recognized university of India.
The candidates appearing in the final year examinations are also eligible to apply.

The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19th September, 1991 shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks for appearing in NET.
The candidates who have passed the UGC/CSIR JRF examination prior to 1989 are exempted from appearing in NET.
