Selection procedure

TOEFL, IELTS or PTE Academic is required for applicants for whom English is
not their native language. Our school code for these tests is 5816.

An undergraduate or graduate degree at a U.S. college or university.

Education was conducted in English in a native English-speaking country.

Received an undergraduate degree or graduate degree from a university in
Hong Kong.

Earned an undergraduate degree or graduate degree from a university in
India.

Essays

We have one required essay and three optional essays. The essays for the
2015-2016 application season are:

Essay One (Required)

Please describe your short and long term goals post-MBA. Explain how your
professional experience has shaped these goals,

Essay Two (Optional)

What personal qualities or life experiences distinguish you from other
applicants? How do these qualities or experiences equip you to contribute to
UNC Kenan-Flagler?

Essay Three (Optional)

If your standardized test scores are low, or if you have not had coursework in
core business subjects (calculus, microeconomics, statistics, financial
accounting),

Essay Four (Optional)

Is there any other information you would like to share that is not presented
elsewhere in the application? (300 words maximum)

Recommendations

The Admissions Committee requires two professional recommendations,
preferably from supervisors.

Interviews

All candidates who are offered admission to the MBA program will have a
completed admissions interview on file.

Application Fee

$150 non-refundable fee can be paid by credit card.
