Hi please provide me the details of the entrance examination of Shivaji University for the admission to the MPhil and PhD courses in various faculties?

Shivaji University, Kolhapur (SUK), Maharashtra had invited online applications for MPhil and PhD in various faculties.

Eligibility:
• The aspirants who have a minimum aggregate of 50% in their post graduation are eligible for the course.
• For PhD aspirants who have already passed their NET/SET and MPhil, the written test will be exempted.

How to apply:
• Apply online through the official website.
• The online application requires the scanned ID photo and signature
• Exam of only those subjects with given intake capacity will be held accordingly.
• For NET/SET qualified aspirants written test has been exempted, however the aspirants still have to apply through the online process

Important dates:
• Online application process will be open from June 15 till June 30.
• Entrance exams for MPhil and PhD will be held on July 26 and 27.

Shivaji University MPhil Entrance Exam Pattern:
Entrance Examination will be offline/online mode. for each subjects question paper will be of 100 marks each (50 Multiple Choice Questions of 2 marks each). The time duration for the examination will be of one and half hour. The Written Test will comprising of 100 marks and interview will consist of 10 marks.

In case of aspirants who are exempted from appearing the entrance test, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of total marks secured in the Post Graduate examination and the marks secured in the interview. (Total marks will be out of 100).
