University At Calcutta invites application for the admission to the Ph.D. programme in the Department of Chemical
Engineering, University of the University.

Eligibility:

Post B.Sc.-B.Tech./ B.Tech./ BE Degree or Masters Degree in Science.

Number of vacancies: 24 (Twenty four)

Reservation:

Reservation in admission shall strictly abide by the West Bengal State Higher Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Rules, 2013.

Requirement of Research Eligibility Test (RET):

Candidates having Post B.Sc.-B.Tech./B.Tech./BE Degree
or Masters Degree in Science are to appear for the Research Eligibility Test (RET) of the Ph.D. programme 2016.

Candidates appearing in the Final Semester/Year are also eligible.

Exemption from Research Eligibility Test (RET) -

Candidates who have cleared UGC /CSIR (JRF) Examinations/ NET /SET/SLET/GATE/ Teacher Fellowship or have passed equivalent examinations or passed the M.Phil./M.Tech/M.D/ M.E./M.Pharm or equivalent examination shall not be required to appear at the RET

They are eligible for directly appearing at the interview.
