Marks obtained in top five subjects shall be considered to ascertain the aggregate marks of a candidate passing the examination under grade system.

After Class X students of the state and Central Boards who will be rated by a grading system instead of usual marks, it is now the turn of post graduate students of Calcutta University who will have to adjust with a similar system.

The University of Calcutta is in the process of finalising a grading system for its post graduate departments.
