Application fees
If you belong to general category then you need to pay Rs. 600

If you belong to OBC Category then you need to pay Rs. 300

If you belong to SC, SC category then you need to pay Rs. 150

Eligibility
The candidate who is in the final year of Post-Graduation or have passed his post-graduation with 55% (For General) or 50% (For ST/SC/OBC/PWD) marks from a government recognized institute are eligible to appear for the exam.

A candidate's graduation and post-graduation subject should be similar and they can appear in NET for the same subject only.

Exam pattern

The exam is conducted in 3 papers- Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper - III.

Paper - I is common to all which consists of the questions from General Aptitude Section and Paper-II and Paper-III consists the questions from the chosen subject.
