University Of Central Punjab provides fee Concession for engineering courses for meritorious students and Disabled Students.

PGC Discount

PGC based Fee Concessions are offered to alumni of all its institutions for following Programs in Faculty of Engineering;

BS-EE, BS-ME & BS-CE Programs

Students granted PGC Discounts receive 25% exemption of tuition fee in the first semester only.

In second and subsequent semesters, the fee concession will be awarded on the basis of following criteria;

75% tuition fee waiver: CGPA 3.90 and above and a minimum workload of 04 courses in a regular semester.

50% tuition fee waiver: CGPA 3.75 to 3.89 and a minimum workload of 04 courses in a regular semester.

25% tuition fee waiver: CGPA 3.50 to 3.74 and a minimum workload of 04 courses in a regular semester.

For the Students of MS Electrical Engineering program the discount allowed for PGC students is 25% of tuition fee.

The 25% fee waiver to PGC students continues for subsequent semester if a student maintains a CGPA of 3.00 or higher with a minimum workload of 04 courses.

Fee Discount For Disabled Students

75% fee concession is allowed to students with major disability and 50% to students with minor disability.

Such a concession requires maintaining a CGPA of 250 in both cases with a minimum workload of 04 courses in a regular semester.

Scholarships Based on academic performance in second and subsequent semesters

Eligibility is based on the following criteria;

75% tuition fee waiver: CGPA 3.90 and above and a minimum workload of 04 courses in a regular semester.

50% tuition fee waiver: CGPA 3.75 to 3.89 and a minimum workload of 04 courses in a regular semester.

25% tuition fee waiver: CGPA 3.50 to 3.74 and a minimum workload of 04 courses in a regular semester.

UCP Cash Scholarships for Students

The University of Central Punjab Scholarships are awarded to students of second and subsequent semesters as cash awards of Rs. 10,000/- each.

Conditions for Cash Scholarship are given as under:

CGPA of 3.90 or higher in an academic program in a regular semester

100% Fee Concession not granted for that Semester
Prescribed full load of courses is taken by the student.

No disciplinary action taken against him/her by the university.
