UHCAA was established in the year 2003 . It is dedicated to promoting the legacy of athletes, uniting and reuniting Cougars, bridging transitions for student-athletes, and advancing the interests of the University of Houston.

UHCAA is a Houston Alumni Association three-time Gold Banner Award recipient ,four-time Red Banner Award winner, and a Homecoming Spirit Challenge Winner.

UHCAA holds its Annual Golf Tournament which has allowed us to contribute over $106,000 in scholarships
