I will criteria for admission into PG program offer by University Of Jammu to students so that you can remember easily. Eligibility Eligibility criteria for Masters Degree(excluding Ph.D & M.Phil), B.Lib.I.Sc, Bachelor degree (LLB) and B.P.Ed: Passed graduation with science, Arts, commerce or Business administration. Candidates should have completed 2 years of degree course by following the 10+2+2 or 10+1+3 pattern. Besides, they should have completed one year of duration bridge course comprising Part III of B.Sc/ BA/B.Com. Candidates should have completed 3 years of professional degree course along with 40% of marks (36% of marks for SC/ST category candidates). Candidates who do not belong to territorial of the University of Jammu but obtained 60% of marks B.Sc./ B.A./B.Com/ BCA/ BBA. Exam Pattern There will be two question papers for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Time duration of the exam will be for 2 hours and 30 minutes. Total number of questions will be 150 which is divided into four major parts. Part A will contain 40 questions from General English, Part B will contain 40 questions from General knowledge, Part C will contain 40 questions from reasoning and finally the part D will have 30 questions from Numerical Ability. 1 mark will be given for every objective type question. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. Registration Fees of JUET The registration fees for JUET entrance examination where general category candidates need to pay Rs. 600/- and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/ST (Leh & Kargil) category candidates as application fees. Candidate can pay this application fee through offline mode. Counselling Process of JUET 2016 Shortlisted candidates are supposed to login in to the official site and check their counselling dates. Selected candidates have to carry their original mark-sheets and certificates at the time of counselling and if they fail to carry their original certificates and mark-sheets their admission will be cancelled. Downloaded mark-sheets and certificates are not allowed. The counselling process would start tentatively by July.
