Eligibility
General MBA:
Candidates who want to take admission in General MBA in the Institute of Distance Education of Madras University should possess a graduate degree from a recognized University / deemed University under 10 + 2 + 3 pattern of education and fulfill criteria given as below:

a) Candidate who passed and possess Bachelor Degree/Master Degree of the University of Madras or any other University recognised by the UGC/AIU or a qualification accepted by this University as equivalent thereto.

b) Candidate who passed and possess a Professional Degree in Engineering (or) Technology (or) Medicine (or) Architecture (or) Law.

c) Candidate who passed and possess Professional qualification in Accountancy (or) Cost & Works Accountancy (or) Company Secretaryship.

Executive MBA:
Candidates who want to take admission in Executive MBA in the Institute of Distance Education of Madras University should possess a graduate degree from a recognized University / deemed University under 10 + 2 + 3 pattern of education and minimum of 3 years of work experience in managerial / supervisory / executive cadre in business / industry in private or public sector or in government / semi government / quasi government institutions.
