The University of Michigan–Dearborn is a public university located in Dearborn, Michigan, USA. The University was established in 1959. It is one of the two satellite campuses of the University of Michigan operating under the policies of the Board of Regents.

MS in Accounting

The Master of Science in Accounting at the University of Michigan-Dearborn provides the specialized training required for success in corporate accounting, controllership, and public accounting.

The degree is open to all students, regardless of their undergraduate major.

The program usually can be completed within 12 months of full-time study.

Admission is rolling, and you may begin the program in September or January.

May admission is also usually possible for part-time students.

Admission Requirements-

The MS programs are open to students of all undergraduate majors and all levels of work experience.

To be considered for admission, you must have successfully completed the following-

Four-year US bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution

A grade of “C” or better in an undergraduate course in finite math, pre-calculus, or calculus

MS in Accounting admission prerequisites include 8 undergraduate courses in the following areas, each completed with a grade of "C" or better:

Financial, Managerial, Cost, Asset, Equity, Federal Income Taxation, Accounting Information Systems, and Auditing. Admissible students may complete any or all of these undergraduate prerequisites at UM-Dearborn while enrolled in the graduate program

MS-Finance applicants must also have completed three credits of financial accounting equivalent to ACC 298, Financial Accounting, with a grade of "C" or better
GMAT or GRE test within the previous 5 years
