The Tuition and Living Costs for Full Time MBA Program offered by McCombs School of Business, The University of Texas at Austin are as follows: Annual Expenses These are estimated expenses for the 2016-2017 academic year. Expenses In-State Out-Of-State International Tuition & Fees $33,298 $48,832 $48,832 Books $1,300 $1,300 $1,300 Living Expenses $18,000 $18,000 $18,000 MBA Student Fee $850 $850 $850 Laptop $1,300 $1,300 $1,300 One Year Cost $54,748 $70,282 $70,282 A non-refundable $2,000 deposit is required once an applicant accepts admission in order to secure a seat in the program, and is credited toward first semester’s program costs. MBA Student Fee and Laptop only apply to the first year in the program. Tuition and Fees Tuition rates are decided by the Board of Regents and posted to the student Accounts Receivable website in May of each academic year. Living Expenses These cost of living estimates were provided by the MBA Program Office and may not correspond exactly to the cost of living in Austin. These figures, unlike general cost of living figures for Austin, are specifically tailored to represent the cost of the standard of living generally pursued by our MBA students. The lifestyle and family status affect individual MBA Program costs. Financial aid eligibility is limited to approve costs. MBA Student Fee This fee goes directly to Full-Time MBA student resources and activities for the duration of program. Cost may increase for late registration. Laptop This estimate for a new laptop was provided by the MBA Program Office based on past student data; one needs to have a specific model, but required to have a laptop computer that is able to run the current versions of both Microsoft Windows and Office and connect to wired and wireless Ethernet networks.
