To get the admission to the courses of the engineering at the state you need to clear the entrance test called the UPSEE here are the details of the test-

UPSEE 2014 is the examination that is being conducted by the Gautam Buddha Technical University for the aspirants to engineering courses in Uttar Pradesh. This is A state level examination, candidates must attempt the UPSEE 2014 for the UP Engineering admissions.

The Uttar Pradesh State Engineering Entrance 2014 (UPSEE) that is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical university is the state level entrance exam for admissions to the various degree courses in engineering in the colleges under the University at the state.

UPSEE 2014 Eligibility Criteria:

B.Tech aspirants

Candidates should have passed Intermediate from UP Board or 10+2 examination from a recognized Board or University to get the admission to the courses of the engineering.

Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST) in the concerned subjects.

They also must have studied Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology / Biology / Technical Vocational as the optional subject.

Candidates must have passed the qualifying exam without any grace marks.

UPSEE 2014 Paper Pattern:

The UPSEE 2014 Question Paper will contain 150 questions for 600 marks.

Questions will be in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with weight age given to all the papers.

Each correct answer will carry four marks with no negative marking.
Candidates will have to give only one answer for each question

UPSEE 2014 Important Dates:

Online Application availability: from March 15, 2014 till April 6, 2014 (till 12 midnight)

Offline Application availability: from March 15, 2014 till April 5, 2014

Receipt of Confirmation Page (both online & offline) Applications: April 7, 2014 till 5 pm

Test Date of GBTU 2014: April 20, 2014

UPSEE 2014 Result: On or before May 20, 2014
