Subject Education Qualification

Hindi MA Hindi or sanskrit with BA or shastri exam

Physics: M.sc or PG diploma in concerned subject with B.sc

Chemistry M.sc or B.sc Hons , Bio Chemistry ,

Biology Msc. Botany / Zoology or PG diploma

Economics M.Com , B.com with Economics

Home science PG in Home Economics, or Ho mar ,

Art PG in Drawing

Military science M.sc in military science or MA

Reasoning MA philosophy , BA Hons with philosophy and reasoning MA

Pali MA in Pali

Music PG

Exam Pattern:

The written exam for the Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Teachers is an
objective type paper having multiple choice questions on the following:

Part I:

General Awareness & Current Affairs,

General Science & Indian Constitution,

Reasoning,

Teaching Aptitude and

Quantitative Aptitude

Part II:

English (20 Questions);

Hindi (20 Questions)

Part III: Subjects chosen for optional paper
