UPCPMT, also called as the ‘Uttar Pradesh Combined premedical test’ is a state level medical entrance exam.

Eligibility Criteria

Students who have cleared class XII (12th) with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology are eligible for UP CPMT 2016.

Those who hold Indian Certificate Examination (After 12 years of study) are also eligible for UP-CPMT 2016.

Candidate must be 17 years old and not more than 25 years old on 31 December of the application year

Candidate can only appear for UP CPMT 2016 3 times.

Exam pattern of UPCPMT

Total duration of the exam will be 3 hours, and there are 200 questions in total

The paper will have 4 sections (Botany, Physics, Zoology, Chemistry)

Each section will have 50 questions (Objective type MCQ)

The exam will be available in Hindi and English languages, the choice for the preferred language will be available in the application form.
