UPPGMET- Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test is a paper-pen, postgraduate medical entrance test bound for for admission to M.D./M.S./Post Graduate Diploma Courses in colleges forming U.P. Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association Barely (UPUMCWA).

Eligibility for UPPGMET 2016:-

Educational Qualification:

MBBS course from a MCI recognized institution.

In addition to this the aspirant should have completed obligatory internship before April 01, 2016.
The candidate should have his/her registration with State Medical Council/Medical Council of India.
For NRI / Foreign candidates, the above mentioned criteria should be approved by the Medical Council of India.

UPPGMET( Tentative dates ):-

Forms available for online filling / download - October 3rd week, 2015

Forms available at participating colleges - November 2nd week , 2015

Last date for online form submission - January 1st week , 2016

Last Date for form submission through post - January1st week, 2016

UPPGMET 2016 Date (Computer Based ):- January 3rd week , 2016 & January 4th week, 2016

Result Declaration - Second Week of February 2016

Counselling - March, 2016.

UPPGMET 2016 Paper Pattern:-

There will be a total no. of 250 objective types multiple choice questions
The UPPGMET will consist of a maximum of 250 marks.
There will be negative marks of 1/4 for each wrong answer.
More than one answer marked in OMR answer sheet will also be considered as wrong answer.
Only Black Ball Point Pen shall be used for answering on OMR answer sheet as per direction even in the OMR Sheet.

The questions will normally be of MBBS level.
