Hy dear I want to apply for the Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Preliminary exam so please can you tell me that what the eliglbity criteria is for Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Preliminary exam?

UPSC has released schedule for civil services preliminary examination 2017, which is going to held in the month of June 2017

Age Limit Criteria

The applicant should complete 20 years and enter at the age 21 years and he should not be more than 32 years of his/her age.

If an applicant is SC/ST he/she will get more 5 years in short 32+5 =37 years of his/her age.

If an applicant is OBC then he/she will get 3 years in short 32+3=35 years of his/her age.

If the applicant is domiciled in J &K between year 1st Jan 1980 to 31st Dec 1989 he/she will also get more 5 years in short 32+5=37 years of his/her age.

The decision of Date of birth or age will be declared whatever will be written on the applicant’s Mark sheet of 10th, 12th, and Graduation.

Educational Qualification Criteria of IAS/IPS

The applicant must have completed his/her graduation in any stream from recognized State or central university approved by UGC.
