Indian Police Service IPS exam is a civil service exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the recruitment of candidates for the different posts in Indian Civil Services.

IPS 2015 Exam Date:-

Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam 2015:-

Date of commencement of Examination:- 23.08.2015 (SUNDAY)

Duration of the Exam:- 1 DAY

Civil Services (Main) Exam 2015:-

Date of commencement of Examination:- 18.12.2015 (FRIDAY)

Duration of the Exam:- 5 DAYS

IPS exam eligibility-

Degree in any field from recognised University.

Age Limit:-

Candidate age must be between 21 years to 32 years.

Age Relaxation:-

Five years for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates.

Three years for Other Backward Classes candidates.

Paper II: Language Exam
Paper III: General English
Paper IV: Essay
Paper V, VI, VII, VIII and IX: Optional Subjects
