Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) is a state-level entrance test organised by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) for admissions in UG and PG courses in Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Fashion and Apparel Design, Fine Arts, and Management

Only the candidates qualifying the UPSEE are eligible to participate in the UPSEE counselling procedure.

The counselling process was held in June 2017.

Seats was allotted to candidates during UPSEE counselling on the basis of their ranks in the UPSEE results, in the order of preference given for the seats and availability of seats in the category.

In order to participate in UPSEE counselling, the eligible candidates need to register themselves by paying the counselling fee of Rs. 500 through a bank Demand Draft.

After successful registration, the students will be requested to appear in person for the verification of documents at the designated help centres.

The Demand Draft should be in favour of the “Finance Officer, Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow” payable at the city branch of the candidate’s counselling centre.

UPSEE 2017 Admit Card.

Class 12th Certificate & Marks Sheet.

Rural Weightage Certificate (if applicable).

Domicile Certificate.

Domicile Certificate of the candidate’s parents (for candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from outside UP).

Character Certificate.

Medical Fitness Certificate.

Category Certificate for (SC/ST/OBC candidates).

Sub-Category Certificate (if applicable).

Income Certificate (if applicable).

GDDA Category Certificate (if applicable)

After completion of the choice filling process, the result of the allocation of seats will be announced.

The seat allotment done online based on the UPSEE 2017 merit list, the choices filled, and the availability of the seats.

Higher ranked candidates will be given preference.
