The UP State Entrance Examination is regulated by the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University.

The UPTU Entrance Exam is conducted for admission in the first year of B.Tech/B.Arch/ B.Pharm/ BHMCT/ BFAD/BFA/MBA/MCA/MAM and also for admission into second year of B.Tech /B.Pharm/MCA.

This entrance exam is organized to get admission in all the Technical Institutions / Colleges that are affiliated to the AKTU, Lucknow.

Exam Pattern:

UPTU Entrance Exam will be held for 11 papers with multiple choice type questions except Drawing Aptitude Test (Part B of paper 4).
Paper 1 to Paper 4 will be conducted OMR Based Test only.
Paper 5 to Paper 11 will be organized through CBT only.
Candidates will be awarded with 4 marks for each correct answer.
There will be no negative marking procedure.
